UEA has always been a family-owned company that supports employee families and their work-life balance. UEA is known for its unique production schedules that allow employees to have time outside of work to take care of their personal needs without having to take time off. This philosophy enables employees to use their time off for things like vacations and not having to take off for things like dentist appointments.

UEA is proud to announce that we are expanding our unique production schedule options even more. UEA will now offer five Assembly Production schedules for candidates to choose from. These schedules will allow candidates to work in a production setting while also providing flexibility with their personal needs.

The first new schedule option is our Mid-Day shift, which runs from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. This shift is available to any candidate, but UEA wanted to provide a schedule that better aligns with the childcare needs of families who cannot find childcare for the traditional 5:30 am start times.

The second new schedule option for assembly is our Weekend Shift. This shift is from 5:30 am to 6:00 pm, Friday to Sunday and includes a $4/hour shift differential. This schedule is an excellent option for people who would like to have a four-day weekend!

UEA will also continue to offer our traditional schedule options for employees: 5:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday-Thursday; 5:30 am to 9:30 am, Friday; 3:45 pm to 2:15 am, Monday-Thursday; and 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.
