Slip Rings Your Way

At United Equipment Accessories, we solve customer challenges and meet their specific requirements for many applications by offering a large variety of sizes and options S15CP13JEL2-1of slip ring assemblies. The following is a recent slip ring assembly that has a few unique options, which the customer requested and UEA engineered.

The S15CP13 is an example of one of our ‘C’ style assemblies, meaning that it gets a wrap cover. The wrap cover allows for easy access to the interior of the slip ring assembly and also cuts down on height, due to the cover wrapping around the assembly as opposed to S15CP13JEL2-2being removed from the top. As a point of outer retention of the assembly we’ve added extended 5/16″ studs, which could be adapted to any length for tying off to the customer's torque bracket. The inner retention is secured with an extra long, flanged mounting tube. The mounting tube also serves as an air line through the center of the assembly with a single passage swivel on one end and a tapped exit on the other. Finally, we’ve added two tapped holes to the top casting for a direct ‘hub style’ mount of two wired plugs that will lock directly into the casting. All of the cables in this assembly are being supplied by S15CP13JEL2-3the customer per their request.

This is just one example of the hundreds, if not thousands of customizable options you have when ordering UEA slip rings. If you’re looking around our website or browsing through our catalogs and don’t see anything that specifically fits your application, send us an email or give us a call. Chances are we’ve done something similar, but if not, our helpful customer service and engineers will explore all options to come up with the slip ring that best meets your specific application.
