AWEA Windpower 2016 Convention and Exhibition

As the American Wind Energy Association's 2016 Windpower convention approaches, UEA is starting to finalize the preparations required to exhibit during the show.  This year AWEA is being held in New Orleans for the first time, on May 23rd-26th.

UEA has attended AWEA every year for at least 12 years and we are currently preparing for New Orleans.  This year we will be displaying several wind turbine slip rings as well as replacement parts for these rings.  We send a total of 4-5 employees from both sales and engineering to the convention.  Employees work in the booth throughout the day as well as visit with customers throughout the exhibition.

There are a couple of reasons why UEA attends the AWEA show every year.  First of all, it's a chance for us to showcase our new and existing product lines to potential customers.  Each year AWEA attracts several large and small turbine manufactures, both domestic and foreign, and is a great way to make contact with them all in one place.  It's also a great time to connect with our existing customers.  Besides existing and potential customers attending the show, it's also a great chance to visit current and potential suppliers displaying new products.

We are hoping AWEA 2016 will be larger than last year and begin to work its way back to where is was 8 or 9 years ago when the show was booming.  Overall, AWEA has been a very good quality show compared to some, and the industry is still going very strong which makes the show a must for UEA.
