UEA prides ourselves in providing great customer service and high-quality products. In order to provide products that meet not only our customers’ standards, but that also meet our high expectations, many steps are taken to ensure our processes will facilitate those requirements.

Not only do we constantly test our products, but we also conduct internal audits as well as being audited externally to the ISO 9001:2015 standard. This particular audit focuses on quality management through 5 key elements.

User-friendly System for Document Access: UEA developed an organization-based flow chart access system, which is simple to use and secure so that unauthorized access can be prevented. In the chart below, each department or process is accessible and contains the Work Instruction and Procedure and Data related to a particular department. This makes it very easy to find and easy for training new employees.

Quality Manual: The Quality Manual in ISO 9001:2015 is not a required document, but without a quality manual it’s difficult to manage the quality system in medium and large-scale organizations.
Risk and Opportunity Analysis: This is an important tool - it can help reduce cost, scrap, and production time in each department. UEA has a risk and analysis procedure, which includes each department of the organization and it has already proven very effective in our processes.

Design and Development Processes: There have been recent changes to this standard within the ISO 9001:2015 audit. These changes focus on quality optimization, safety, and effectiveness during product development.

GAP Analysis: This part of the audit is particularly important. UEA never wants any of our products to under-perform. Conducting a GAP Analysis involves assessing performance and comparing these findings with potential.
