Evolving our Engineering Department

We are excited to restructure as it not only recognizes the leaders in our Engineering Department, but also better aligns with our customer's needs.

Engineering Manager

At United Equipment Accessories (UEA), we are always looking for ways to improve our products, services, and processes. One way in which we can improve in all of these areas is in restructuring our Engineering Department. We are excited for this restructuring as it not only recognizes the leaders in our Engineering Department, but also better aligns with our customer’s needs.

As we progress and grow our specific product lines, our goal is to evolve to handle this future growth. This restructuring places a leader in charge of each of our major product lines to support handling this growth and give our customers one go-to person.

We are restructuring our Engineering Department as follows:

UEA Hydraulic Engineer Brady Haugo
Brady Haugo

Brady Haugo has been promoted from Senior Design Engineer to Hydraulic Engineering Supervisor. He now oversees all hydraulic-related activities including all Hydraulic Design Engineers.

Brady graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He received his MBA from Southwest Minnesota State, and has over seven years of Design Engineering experience, focusing mainly on our hydraulic products.

He has been given our most difficult hydraulic challenges from customers and specializes in thinking outside the box. He offers functional designs within the space requirements needed, but also goes above and beyond, thinking as the customer, trying to reduce costs as much as possible and while keeping the functionality and integrity of the design.

UEA Slip Ring Engineer Jesse Shearer
Jesse Shearer

Jesse Shearer has been promoted from Senior Application Engineer to Slip Ring Engineering Supervisor.  He now oversees all slip ring-related activities including all Application Engineers and Engineering Designers.

Jesse graduated from University of Northern Iowa (UNI) with a degree in Industrial Technology and Design. He has over 13 years of experience at UEA in both Design and Application Engineering in the construction industry and 11 years experience in the wind industry.

He has built strong and trusted working relationships with our most valued customers. Jesse offers our customers cost saving designs, which sometimes fit within tight space requirements. He specializes in new designs as well as helps with aftermarket replacements.

Our hope is that these changes ensure our customers that we have dedicated leaders in place in which they can rely on that have both the experience and knowledge needed to lead the charge for any slip ring or hydraulic application challenge.

I am confident that both Brady and Jesse will succeed in their new roles with UEA and make your customer experience the best it can be.
