Fraudulent checks have recently been issued using United Equipment's name, logo and banking information. If you have received such a check and are looking at our web site to find contact information, please notify Debbe Baker, Controller, at 319-352-3946 or you may contact our bank 319-352-6000 and ask for Betty Shippe. These checks are counterfeit and if deposited will be rejected by our bank. The checks are typically written to individuals, not company names and are for a large sum of money.
United Equipment was established in 1952 and has always been a business of high integrity. We do not want our credibility to be compromised by this criminal activity. Please help us by forwarding any information to the FBI, PO Box 1673, Waterloo, IA 50704.
